Creeër je eigen groen

In this project, we had the opportunity to collaborate with the Stadslab Sittard-Geleen. We were given the task to create a campaign about the city’s DNA. We chose to focus on nature and encourage residents to reflect on and realize the benefits of nature.

In this campaign, we worked together with primary school students from Geleen. They expressed their creativity by creating various drawings related to nature. These drawings will be placed throughout the city to bring more color and ‘greenery’ to the city. Our main goal for this campaign is to encourage residents to create more green spaces and foster conversations among them.

We want people to understand the advantages of nature, such as improved well-being, ecological balance, and a more beautiful cityscape. By spreading these drawings, we hope to ignite a sense of pride and responsibility among residents towards their surroundings.

The primary objective of our campaign is to motivate residents to actively participate in greening their city. We want them to realize that even small contributions, like planting trees or creating community gardens, can make a significant difference. Furthermore, we believe that by engaging in conversations about the importance of nature, residents can build stronger connections with each other and work together towards a greener future.

Our goal was to create an engaging experience that would encourage kids to return. To achieve this, we decided to develop a mascot named Miek, who is now a central figure at Center Ceramique in Maastricht. Miek and his friends guide visitors to find the perfect book that suits their interests.
